Diwali, Holi and Rakhi

are just a few

Birthplace of Kama Sutra,

Graphic carvings adorn temples,

Yet, talking about sex is taboo

Men bow down to Durga and Kali,

but expect to be worshipped by 

all the women in their lives

Never calling elders

by only their first name

Greeting them by

Touching their feet

All the things, 

my American born children 

would call “weird”
